Anyone planning to enter the Accounting or Payroll field must have good computer skills and be familiar with computerized accounting and automated payroll systems.
This program provides students with the necessary skills to maintain complete sets of books, keep records of accounts, verify the procedures used to record financial transactions, and provide personal bookkeeping services. Students will also learn to perform payroll administrative duties and gain experience in business correspondence and office procedures.
Students will prepare to write CPA examinations so they may acquire Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification.

Tuition fees include all course materials.
Students must maintain a 75% program average to obtain a diploma.
All students registered in the Accounting & Payroll Program will be provided with an on-the-job training placement to use their skills in a practical work setting. This will provide students with the opportunity to learn how their experience in the classroom relates to the real world of work.
Credit for previous training & education may be awarded to students who can successfully complete examinations that demonstrate proficiency in specific skill areas. This ensures that students don't have to take courses that they do not need.
